Adapted from the works of the legendary Stanislaw Lem, this 1973 Hungarian TV series was pioneering in the use of blue-screen set extension. The problem is that it was done cheaply with very miniature miniatures, and so it sort of looks like the sci-fi borrowers. Weird how these guys were essentially attempting to do the same sort of thing that George Lucas did with the Star Wars prequels. If, like me, you don't really speak Space/Hungarian, please feel free to make your own words up.
Cheers to my buddy Phellim O'Niell for this one.
