I've been working in the advertising industry for the last seven years and in that time have worked on all sorts of jobs. From concept art, animatics, CG operating, on-set VFX supervision, leading post teams, directing motion capture sessions and now directing commercials themselves. I've been responsible for brands including Google, Nokia, Reebok, Toyota, Carling, Bacardi and many others.
There's too much to list in it's entirity so here's a couple of bits and pieces that will give you an idea of the sort of thing I've been up to. From global marketing campaigns with hundreds of millions of dollars to spend to £20,000 virals, I'll get the job done if the budget disappears.
Google Chrome global launch campaign artwork. This artwork was seen all over the world as Google launched their new browser, and their marketing spend took their brand awareness through the roof.
This is a typical London Underground tube station. They booked out the entire tunnel wall!
Reebok job with Superglue and Glue Isobar
The broadcast ad below for C2 brand lager is a part of BMB agencys' Carling campaign. We were comissioned to create a bar full of assorted beaten-up factory robots with a range of personalities and characteristics. Working from an agency script, this 30 second TV spot was completed over a seven week period. My role on this job covered everything from VFX supervision on the shoot to leading the concept and CG build team and everything inbetween. The final comp for this job was completed by the amazingly handsome Chris Redding at Framestore.
